Evaluación de la eficiencia del desalinizador por evaporación en el tratamiento de agua subterránea en Barranquilla en dos escenarios: Universidad de la Costa y lavadero de carros

The project presents a desalination system used to soften hard water. For this, the initial
collection and analysis was carried out in the physicochemical parameters such as pH,
Temperature, Color, Alkalinity, Turbidity, Salinity, Calcium hardness and total sample samples
(2) places in the city of Barranquilla, Atlántico, Lucciana Car Wash and the Universidad De La
Costa CUC. After being characterized, the samples passed through the desalination system
consisting of two phases, the first is evaporation, which is carried out in an aluminum container
where the water is poured and heated to its boiling point; and the second is the condensation
where the steam generated in the first phase passes to a glass cabin obtaining as a result
desalinated water. This process proved to be very effective when withdrawing the sales causing
the hardness in the analyzed samples by withdrawing 100% of the sales dissolved in them and
having a 69.24% efficiency of hardness removal, in addition to being an easy method already
Accessible to use. However, if you want to use this method to purify the water, it must be
accompanied by disinfection and pH neutralization processes because when you remove the sales
of water it becomes more acidic.
