In Colombia, one of the most outstanding challenges facing higher education is the improvement of the quality of institutions offering this level of education. Within this context, the objective of this research is to establish the Quality Management characteristics of the Surgical
Instrumentation program of the Corporación Universitaria Latinoamericana -CUL- from the
perspective of teachers and students. To achieve this, the methodology used is descriptive, cross sectional, non-experimental research, using numerical data collection techniques and statistical analysis. As for the results obtained, for most teachers this program is at an average level in almost all aspects that were consulted. Likewise, in relation to students' appreciation of key
aspects of the Quality Management of the program and how this affects them, almost all the
students believe that the training program is appropriately adapted to the characteristics, conditions and needs of the context educational in which the training system is inserted, also considers that the objectives of the program are congruent with the competences acquired during
the training process.
