Decision making and gender difference from neuroscience is a little studied topic. In this manuscript there is a brief exposition of the constitutive elements at brain level that influence the decision making in humans. In the same way, some researches that investigate gender difference and decision making are reviewed. We conclude, first, that there are divergences in cognitive styles in decision making according to gender. And second, there are some differences in the neurofunctional bases of these complex mental processes, of unquestionable importance, giving rise to a biological explanation, without leaving aside, of course, the cultural influence on the differences of cognitive processing between men and women.eng
