dc.description.abstract | En lugares donde la construcción de pequeñas centrales idroeléctricas es limitada por su alto costo de inversión y antenimiento (como es el caso de las áreas rurales), generar energía a bajo costo se ha convertido en una necesidad económica y social. El desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías que faciliten la producción energética cada vez obtiene mayor interés, las bombas usadas como turbinas son un sistema que ofrece ser una alternativa rentable para aprovechar energía presente en un fluido y aunque los fabricantes de bombas no suministran información acerca del funcionamiento de estas de forma inversa, en el desarrollo de esta tesis se muestra teóricamente como seleccionar el tipo de bomba y como diseñar el impulsor adecuado para lograr un correcto funcionamiento; en este proyecto se estudiará la línea de conducción de agua potable comprendida entre el tanque el Radar y el municipio de Usiacurí - Atlántico, aprovechando las propiedades hidráulicas y topográficas de esta, se buscará estimar la potencia que se puede aprovechar si se reemplaza una válvula reguladora de presión por una bomba usada como turbina | spa |
dc.description.abstract | In places where the construction of small hydroelectric power plants is limited by its high investment and maintenance cost (as is the case in rural areas), generating energy at low cost has become an economic and social need. The development of new technologies that facilitate energy production is gaining more interest, pumps used as turbines are a system that offers to be a cost-effective alternative to take advantage of present energy in a fluid and although pump manufacturers do not provide information about the operation of these in an inverse way, in the development of this thesis it is shown theoretically how to select the type of pump and how to design the suitable impeller to achieve a correct operation; This project will study the drinking water line included between the Radar tank and the municipality of Usiacurí - Atlántico, taking advantage of the hydraulic and topographic properties of this, it will be sought to estimate the power that can be exploited if a regulating valve is replaced of pressure by a pump used as a turbine | eng |
