Análisis del uso del motocarro como servicio público de pasajeros en el municipio de soledad

Abstract

The present work consisted of an analysis of the use of the motorcycle as a service in the municipality of soledad, this analysis was carried out taking into account the variables of road safety, modal choice and listening to the opinions of those involved in the problem. Taking into account this, the accident rate was evaluated within the municipality and what percentage of participation each of the means of transportation had over it. Talks were held with the drivers of the motorcarros, the population and the entity in charge of regulating the transport in the municipality, in these talks all their opinions were heard to later propose a solution. In the same way, surveys were conducted to determine by which means of transport the people who are part of this population were inclined and finally a model was estimated by the multinomial logit method (MNL) where the travel time, time were taken as variables Waiting and cost. In order to determine how likely it is that people take a bus, taxi and motorcar.

El presente trabajo consistió en un análisis del uso del motocarro como servicio en el municipio de soledad, este análisis se realizó teniendo en cuenta las variables de seguridad vial, elección modal y escuchando las opiniones de los implicados en la problemática. Teniendo en cuenta esto se evaluó la tasa de accidentalidad dentro del municipio y que porcentaje de participación tenían cada uno de los medios de transporte sobre esta. Se realizaron charlas con los conductores de los motocarros, la población y la entidad encargada de regular el transporte en el municipio, en estas charlas se escucharon todas sus apreciaciones para posteriormente proponer una solución. De la misma manera se realizaron encuestas para determinar por cual medio de transporte se inclinaban las personas que hacen parte de esta población y por último se estimó un modelo por el método logit multinomial (MNL) donde se tomaban como variables el tiempo de viaje, tiempo de espera y costo. Para de esta manera determinar que probabilidad existe de que las personas cojan bus, taxi y motocarro.
