Wastewater from poultry industries contain high concentrations of organic matte, suspended solids, fat, nitrogen and phosphorus. Its composition and flow generally vary depending on the manufacturing process, plant size, number of animals slaughtered, blood collection efficiency and byproducts, water consumption per slaughtered bird and water management in the industrial process. In this regard, the arrangement of these untreated effluent into the receiving bodies has a negative environmental impact. In this research, using a pilot plant using extended aeration and thorough mixing, the waste water from a slaughterhouse was treated at a poultry industry sector through the process of using a Commercial Inoculum Bioaugmentation a single daily dose, with the aim determine their efficiency for these tributary. Chemical oxygen demand (QOD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids (TSS), oil and grease, temperature and pH at the inlet and outlet of the treatment system: the parameters were determined. This work is done in two phase: the first without the second inoculum and supplying the selected inoculum. The results of the physicochemical analysis in both phases were evaluated and compared with each other and with current regulations; determining whether the trade Inoculum used acted efficiently potentiate the operation of the pilot plant.eng
