AbstractIn 2010, the south of the Atlantic Department, Colombia had one of the most tragic moments in history, a rupture of the containment Canal Del Dique, which caused a flood of up to 2m in 4 municipalities in the South of the Atlantic department. With this flood came another series of unfavorable conditions for the residents of the community, as was the theft of cables in power distribution grids of these municipalities. One of the affected municipalities was Campo de la Cruz, where they stole the distribution networks of low voltage several neighborhoods within which lies the neighborhood called Piñoncito. For recovery of electric service in this district, have been designed the networks completely new in special configuration to prevent the manipulation of these by persons other than employees of the network operator. This document is a support for the design made for the recovery of the networks in this district, which includes the installation of new transformers to improve electricity service to all users and providing for growth in energy demand of this Quarter to 15 years. We also calculated the level control voltage secondary networks to avoid exceeding the 3% maximum allowed by Electricaribe. The network design projects an installation named as remote power measurement, which allows the network operator to check the consumption of individual users without going to the site and go from house to house looking at consumption, in the same way, facilitates the suspension of the service remotely and is presented as the first step in the reclamation project affected networks in the municipalities of the southern Atlantic, solving in turn, the shortcomings in the quality of service provided by the operator network. This project can be used as a theorical base and guide for the fulfillment of any design of overhead distribution networks in the operation area of Electricaribe SA E.S.P.
