The general objective of this research was to “Design pedagogical strategies based on the flipped classroom model in order to promote meaningful learning in mathematics in eighth grade students of the I.E.D. David Sánchez Juliao”. The methodology was framed in the emerging paradigm from the complementary mixed approach; the method used is deductive rationalist. The instruments used to address the research problem were the survey applied to 30 8th grade students and the interview to 5 teachers of the David Sánchez Juliao I.E.D. The findings obtained led to the construction of a proposal of strategies based on the flipped classroom methodology, aimed at promoting meaningful learning in mathematics and motivating teachers and students to take advantage of the opportunities and strengths offered by collaborative work, and the incorporation of ICT, in the teaching of this curricular area in the Colombian educational system.

Getting students to learn concepts and appropriate them, in such a way that they develop their cognitive structures, is the desire of every teacher, chemistry is no exception, however, it is noted that there are still lags of Traditional and memorial education in some institutions, in addition to a certain apathy that is sometimes observed in some students, who even without having begun to see a subject already express that it will be complicated to understand. This research seeks to analyze how the flipped classroom educational methodology articulated with ICTs influences the learning process of chemistry of the 10th grade. We worked under a mixed approach, type of descriptive-explanatory research with an exploratory scope. It will be a quasi-experimental investigation; the sample is made up of 50 students divided into a control group of 26 students and an experimental group of 24 students and 4 teachers from the area of natural sciences. The results obtained showed a positive change in student motivation, collaborative work, participation in classes and communication between teacher and student. The main conclusion of this research suggests that this applied methodology improved the learning of chemistry both in the use of concepts and in the explanation of phenomena.

In this research work, a pedagogical strategy has been developed using the FLIPPED CLASSROOM methodology to develop the social skills of fourth grade students at the Headquarters of the Sabanagrande Commercial Technical Institution No. 4 Santa Rita de Cascia. For this, a pretext is applied with which to identify the social skills for a majority of 61 students divided into groups (control and experimental). Subsequently, a training process was developed with the inclusion of didactic strategies mediated by the FLIPPED CLASSROOM methodology, during an academic semester. After the application of mediated strategies, a subsequent evaluation of the groups is applied: control and experimental, with the purpose of comparing the degree of development of social skills by students. The study showed that students in the experimental group developed social skills (active exploration, conflict and conflict resolution), in addition to the students in the control group. Likewise, it was clear that 55% of the students were motivated by the use of technology, considering it as an effective tool to strengthen interpersonal relationships. It was concluded that the application of the FLIPPED CLASSROOM methodology as a didactic mediation strategy contributes to the development of social skills in fourth grade students and the use of ICTs in a positive and uplifting way for young people and young people.
