Web advertising campaigns have the particularity that allow to measure the performance of campaigns based on different metrics, among which are the cost per thousand impressions (CPM-Cost Per mille), cost per click (CPC) and the click-to-print ratio (CTR-Click Through Ratio). For this reason, each ad has a specific objective based on these indicators which aim to distribute the purchase of advertising space on the Internet in the best possible way in order to have a better return on investment based on these metrics. The costs incurred in the development of its services is significant and the objectives of the campaigns are not always achieved because it assumes the variability of Internet user behavior. This project consists of proposing a regression model based on the historical data of the companies providing the programmatic purchasing service, in order to optimize negotiations on performance metrics in advertising campaigns with advertisers.

Nowadays, quality improvement and increased accessibility to patient data, at a reasonable cost, are highly challenging tasks in healthcare sector. Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud Computing (CC) architectures are utilized in the development of smart healthcare systems. These entities can support real-time applications by exploiting massive volumes of data, produced by wearable sensor devices. The advent of evolutionary computation algorithms and Deep Learning (DL) models has gained significant attention in healthcare diagnosis, especially in decision making process. Skin cancer is the deadliest disease which affects people across the globe. Automatic skin lesion classification model has a highly important application due to its fine-grained variability in the presence of skin lesions. The current research article presents a new skin lesion diagnosis model i.e., Deep Learning with Evolutionary Algorithm based Image Segmentation (DL-EAIS) for IoT and cloud-based smart healthcare environments. Primarily, the dermoscopic images are captured using IoT devices, which are then transmitted to cloud servers for further diagnosis. Besides, Backtracking Search optimization Algorithm (BSA) with Entropy-Based Thresholding (EBT) i.e., BSA-EBT technique is applied in image segmentation. Followed by, Shallow Convolutional Neural Network (SCNN) model is utilized as a feature extractor. In addition, Deep-Kernel Extreme Learning Machine (D-KELM) model is employed as a classification model to determine the class labels of dermoscopic images. An extensive set of simulations was conducted to validate the performance of the presented method using benchmark dataset. The experimental outcome infers that the proposed model demonstrated optimal performance over the compared techniques under diverse measures.

Due to the importance of technology for the prevention of different environmental phenomena, this article aims to show the systematic review of the literature about different applications that allow software and hardware interaction to support decision making in the sense of aquifers.

The Internet of things (IoT) is an active area in the current research community due to the improvement in mobile computing and wireless networks. Currently, the IoT is involved in many fields like smart cities, smart health monitoring, smart tracking, and smart factory; therefore, it is introducing new research opportunities and industrial revolutions. Smart health, in particular, is very important and trendy domain for researchers and practitioners due to its continuous monitoring of health of patients. The objective of smart health is to provide medical facilities to patients at anytime and anywhere. The smart health monitoring systems are mostly connected with the wireless network medium that is extremely vulnerable for threats. However various attacks are observed that can endanger these health monitoring applications and systems. These attacks include Denial of Service (DoS) Attack, Fingerprint and Timing-based Snooping, Router Attack, Select and Forwarding attack, Sensor attack and Replay Attack. In this paper, we discuss these attacks with their impact on health monitoring systems with some suggestive measures from our research findings.

El Internet de las cosas (IoT) percibe un mundo donde los dispositivos que lo conforman pueden ser identificados en el Internet y está creciendo a un ritmo acelerado con nuevos dispositivos que se van conectando. En este sentido, las redes de sensores inalámbricos juegan un papel importante para incrementar la ubicuidad de las redes con dispositivos inteligentes de bajo costo y fácil implementación, con estándares como IEEE 802.15.4 en la capa física, 6LoWPAN en la capa de red, y RPL como protocolo de enrutamiento, que se integran en el concepto de IoT para traer nuevas experiencias en las actividades de la vida diaria, como por ejemplo en aplicaciones para hogares y oficinas confortables, salud, vigilancia del medio ambiente y ciudades inteligentes. En el presente artículo se relacionará a la red de sensores inalámbricos con el Internet de las cosas a través de estándares y protocolos.

This research work is aimed at strengthening the resources that farmers have for crops management of pests and diseases in a digital way using internet of things through the development of a prototype. It can obtain important information of variables within a strawberry crop such as Relative Humidity, temperature and pH. These data are processed and received by means of protocols in real time. These devices allow managing the information of different variables through communication among sensors. This study presents the most critical characteristics of the strawberry by using the data collection of an IoT system. In this way the initial results can demonstrate that the system yields important information for the appropriate management of strawberry crop production.

The number of computing devices of the IoT are expected to grow exponentially. To address the communication needs of the IoT, research is being done to develop new networking architectures and to extend existing architectures. An area that lacks attention in these efforts is the emphasis on utilisation of omnipresent local data. There are a number of issues (e.g., underutilisation of local resources and dependence on cloud based data) that need to be addressed to exploit the benefits of utilising local data. We present a novel data dissemination model, called the Organic Data Dissemination (ODD) model to utilise the omni-present data around us, where devices deployed with the ODD model are able to operate even without the existence of networking infrastructure. The realisation of the ODD model requires innovations in many different area including the areas of opportunistic communications, naming of information, direct peer-to-peer communications and reinforcement learning. This paper focuses on highlighting the usage of the ODD model in real application scenarios and the details of the architectural components.

Due to advancements in information technology, the healthcare sector becomes beneficial and provides distinct methods of managing medical data and enhancing the quality of medical services. The advanced e-healthcare applications are mainly based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing platforms. In IoT enabled healthcare sector, the IoT devices usually record the patient data and transfer it to the cloud for further processing. Energy efficiency and security are treated as critical problems in designing IoT networks in the healthcare environment. As IoT devices are limited to energy, designing an effective technique to reduce energy utilization is needed. At the same time, secure transmission of medical data also poses a major challenging design issue. This paper presents a novel artificial intelligence with a blockchain scheme for IoT healthcare systems named AIBS-IoTHS. The AIBS-IoTH model aims to achieve secure and energy-efficient data transmission in IoT networks. The IoT devices are primarily used to collect patients’ medical data. The AIBS- IoTH model involves a metaheuristic-based modified sunflower optimization-based clustering (MSFOC) technique to achieve energy efficiency. Then, the blockchain empowered secure medical data transmission process is carried out for both inter-cluster and intra-cluster communication. At last, the Classification Enhancement Generative Adversarial Networks (CEGAN) model performs the diagnostic process on the secured medical data to determine the existence of the diseases. The design of MSFOC and CEGAN techniques shows the novelty of the work. An extensive experimental analysis of the benchmark dataset pointed out the superior performance of the proposed AIBS-IoTH model over the other compared methods.
