Architecture until now has been characterized, mainly, by the physical creation of spaces, starting from the use of representations such as plans to construction techniques, among other tools that focus on tangible construction. This is the reason for this research, whose objective is to re-signify the sense of inhabiting Architecture through the imaginary provided by a text. The objective of the research was achieved through a qualitative methodology oriented in 3 phases, which were analytical, experimental, and interpretative. In the analytical phase, a theoretical compilation was carried out to reveal the links between architecture and literature and neuroscience, thus revealing how intangible spaces are created and perceived through text, and how the neuroscientific discoveries of mental images validate the imaginary recreation of intangible spaces, having the mind as the scenario of permanence and the word as the constructive material. Subsequently, the experimental phase was developed, in which a practical exercise was carried out in the form of a workshop in which the participants were subjected to experiment through two literary samples. Finally, in the interpretative phase, the information collected was analyzed and the use of mental images in the recreation of living spaces within the imaginary was demonstrated. 25 of the 30 participants portrayed through drawings and descriptions the sensory experiences, and the use of auditory, motor, olfactory, visual, and sensory mental images.

The article presents an analysis of memory in its relation to time and history, from the perspective of contemporary narrative. Taking as a starting point literary works of key authors for the work, such as Cortázar, Borges, Fournier, among others, from the concept of memory it is stated that, from the creation of literature, this idea along with that of time, both are articulated to the idea of the historical fact as past, but taking the latter as a future that flows into the concrete present that is projected into the future as an existential unit, not only of literary characters, but of the memory lived as a present experience.

Uno de los mayores retos que suelen afrontar al inicio de su carrera los jóvenes guionistas, libretistas de televisión y directores de cine es llevar una obra literaria al cine o la tv.; experiencia interesante y llena de satisfacciones pero que exige absoluto dominio y conocimiento acerca de las técnicas del manejo de ambos lenguajes. En esta investigación, que al final propone un ejercicio taller con la obra Satanás, de Mario Mendoza y la película del mismo nombre, dirigida por Andi Baiz, se reflexiona en torno a las características técnicas de las obras literarias y su adaptación al cine o la televisión, así como las diferencias y similitudes que distinguen a estas importantes artes, vehículos esenciales de la comunicación humana.
