Major discipline problems in the educational institutions of the district of Barranquilla,
indicators and aggravating that favor the appearance of such conflicts were
identified. It was decided to review the literature regarding this issue and the
experiences collected through different techniques such as surveys of 53 teachers,
direct observations in different contexts, such as North Bethany Educational
Institution Educational Institution District and El Rosario. Through an empiricalanalytical
methodology court with a descriptive design, the researchers correlated
the results of some studies in the city of Barranquilla address the phenomenon of
school life. Because this analysis and inquiry-date on this issue in the district data,
allowed to establish, analyze and propose how the problems of coexistence, that
although they are impossible to avoid, can be converted into learning opportunities
to address problems related with school violence, on the basis of dialogue,
negotiation, mediation, the same empowerment, consensus, empathy and reason.
