La presente investigación busca dar respuesta a la pregunta, cómo es la convivencia escolar de los estudiantes de 6° y 7° de dos instituciones educativas distritales de Barranquilla, para lo cual se plantea un estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo y trasversal, en una población de 456 estudiantes pertenecientes a un colegio mixto y otro femenino, en los estratos 1-2 y 3, quienes auto-diligenciaron un cuestionario cerrado, que da respuesta a las variables: clima escolar, dinámica del conflicto y factores protectores y de riesgo. Así se encontró como resultado que el 50% de los estudiantes afirma que el clima escolar es negativo, toda vez que la forma de relacionarse entre docentes y estudiantes es inadecuada, el 47% estudiantes INEDIC y el 50% INEDIFI así lo manifiestan, lo cual puede explicar la afirmación de que las normas y la disciplina no funcionen. Existe poca participación de los estudiantes para resolver los conflictos (42%), la causa de los conflictos se centra en insultos, golpes y robos, además la dinámica para resolver los conflictos se muestra insatisfecha (42%) , es de notar que en el colegio femenino (39%) se observa más situaciones de violencia que en el mixto (19%); sin embargo, se manifiestan como factores protectores a la familia y los amigos, mientras que para factores de riesgo el consumo de alcohol y droga se muestra en porcentajes mínimos (1%-3%) en ambos colegios.

This research work aims to analyze the state of coexistence and the school climate of the Pinar del Río Educational Institution of the District of Barranquilla, school coexistence is based on the way we relate to the school and the way it is done. Simultaneously in various contexts that are interrelated. The ecological theory of the systems of Bronfenbrenner (1987), which consists of an environmental approach on the development of the individual through the different natural contexts in which it develops and that influence the change and its cognitive, moral and relational development. The present study have a Rationalist-deductive epistemological approach, with a mixed design, a complementary paradigm, guided by the deductive method and a methodological approach of qualitative-quantitative order, the instrument used was the survey applied with a sample of 184 students from grades 6 (sixth) to 11 (eleven) of secondary and middle school in ages 10 to 17 years of male and female, focal groups with a group of 6 parents and 9 teachers. The results of this research determine that students have a good perception of school life and present an adequate school climate

This investigation’s objective was to establish the perception of the scholar environment, the causes of the conflict and the convivence levels between the students of the Educational Institution “Fermín Tilano” from the village of Chorrera, Atlantico. This research is non-experimental quantitative, transversal and descriptive as it explores the impact of modalities, categories or levels of one or more variables in a population, meaning that they are purely descriptive studies. This is a non experimental work because no variable is deliberately manipulated. In contrary, the perceptions of the students associated with the school life such as the environment, its characteristics, and negative manifestations were measured. To achieve this end, an adaptation of the questionnaire for students, teachers and families about school convivence was conducted, taken from the book School Violence by Rosario Ortega and Rosario Del Rey (2003). The results shows that a good scholar climate is perceived (55% of students get along with their peers and 91.7 % of teachers think that little or no clashes occur with students). The majority of the students (95%) believe that the teachers have a good opinion about them. 82.5% of students have a normal or good opinion of their peers. Regarding integration, 87.5% of students believe they are integrated. 87.5% of the alumni believe that teachers do intervene in situations of school conflict. The majority of the students (80%) consider that the parents, teachers and students must be the ones who solve the conflicts and situations of bad behaviour within the educational institution.

The results expressed that the school climate is a mentalist social discourse ability to set up a comprehensive theory of mind and an adaptive social discourse. It is argued that the legitimacy of the regulative discourse expressed through teaching and academic psichologicaldecives is critical as competition for change representations and identification with the manual. Students carry out a social construction which is legitimate with pedadogical competence of teachers that from academic discourse, mediates interaction among students. Students construct as a legitimate and valid manual coexistence social reality and transferred in the interactive dynamics of the academic community. The scape of school climate is a transactional and communicative validity claim process is the legitimacy of the semiotics of a social discourse that is only achievable with the participation of the entire educational community.

This research work identifies and describes the problems that affect the student population of the Primary Basic cycle at the Educational Institution of the Sagrada Familia on the island of San Andrés, where there are situations of verbal, physical and psychological aggression, which negatively impacts the school climate, the processes of coexistence and the academic performance of the students. The study is framed within the interpretive paradigm, the type of descriptive-explanatory research, the mixed (qualitative-quantitative) approach and the inductive method. The population is made up of 330 students in grades 4 and 5 of the Basic Education level, and 48 students are selected as representative sample, 24 4th grade (6 students per course) and 24 5th grade (6 students per course), of an age between 8 and 13 years. As information gathering techniques, structured questionnaire questionnaires were designed with closed questions and applied to students, 10 teachers who work in the Primary Basic cycle and 8 parents of students of 4th and 5th grade who volunteered and freely collaborate as informants. The analysis and interpretation of the information made it possible to diagnose the school climate and coexistence processes, which served as a starting point for the design and formulation of a pedagogical intervention proposal as an innovation for the use of new technologies of the information and communication to implement activities with a transversal focus, oriented in the classroom by the teachers of all the areas of the Study Plan. The interest of the students, their active participation, the assimilation of thematic contents and, above all, the change of attitude to work for the improvement of the school climate, of the convivenciales processes and, therefore, in the improvement of the academic performance were evidenced.

The purpose of the present research is to design a model of intervention in the school community designed to prevent and reduce conflict manifestations in I.E.D San Gabriel, a public school in Barranquilla, from indicators of school atmosphere. The sample was 280 students, which is equivalent to 56.11% of the student community from sixth to eleventh grades of this institution, between 10 and 15 years. The socio economic status of students goes from medium to low level. This research used a method of quantitative descriptive approach, it sought to determine, through objective data collection, students' perception on school climate and school conflict through a quantitative phase to allow through analysis and interpretation of intervention build a model of coexistence. Through this research, the perceptions of school atmosphere and school demonstrations conflict between student pairs of the institution were determined. Therefore, the proposed design of a model of intervention in school community.

La convivencia escolar es un fenómeno que se basa en la percepción colectiva de los miembros de la comunidad escolar y de gran influencia en su forma de comportarse, esta es fundamental para que los estudiantes puedan aprender y participar activamente en clases, para ello se debe tener un buen clima afectivo y emocional dentro de su escuela. En este sentido, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo describir el proceso de fortalecimiento de la convivencia escolar a través de la motivación como estrategia pedagógica en los estudiantes de cuarto grado del Centro Educativo Divino Niño de Santo Tomás. Esta investigación emplea un enfoque cualitativo, un diseño de investigación- acción participación y un paradigma socio crítico que busca mediante talleres y entrevistas aplicadas a docentes, estudiantes y padres de familia reconocer las problemáticas de convivencia escolar y así mismo fortalecer la sana convivencia. Como resultado de esta investigación se concluye que la motivación contribuye a mejorar la convivencia escolar, porque los estudiantes al tiempo que comparten y aprenden en equipo, se divierten y se sienten valorados, dejando a un lado los antivalores como el maltrato, las malas conductas y los ambientes no agradables.

The present study was set as a purpose to analyze the strengthening of the school climate from the challenges of problematizing teaching in the second degree of the Sagrada Familia school located in the municipality of Malambo, Atlántico. The type of research is qualitative and the paradigm of this is socio-critical, which allowed generating a social transformation. The emphasis of this research also allowed us to implement different activities in the classroom in order to improve the problems encountered, as well as to demonstrate the pertinence of the problematizing teaching strategy. From the theoretical affirmation supported by Álvarez (2012) who expresses that this "must start from a communication between subjects, that is to say an encounter, there must be a dialogicity that allows a reflection and a process of criticality within the communication to take place" ( P.3). The result was that this strategy implemented reduced conflicts within the classroom and students improved their perception of school climate.

The theme of the identity work of the teacher refers to the way how the teacher lives subjectively his work, the factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction and the perception of their work by the society. All of this depends, then, of the work context and the paths of professional life. This is the theme that deals with the research, as a search for traits that characterize the identity work of teachers in a specific context: the rural sector in the departments of Atlántico and Magdalena. This is to handle variables that constitute the axes of the resolutions formulated, namely: identity work of the teacher, personal and professional profile, school climate, and adoption of the law school effect. The research approach is mixed (quantitative and qualitative), the paradigm is descriptive, the type of research is explanatory and the method is inductive. Confront the results obtained from the field work with the theories and studies conducted in the research, and concludes with an analysis and interpretation of the data obtained to identify the traits that characterize the identity work of the teacher in the rural sector, as are the projection of your personal and professional image to the practice in the context, the commitment of bonding and belonging to the environment, identification with the mission, continuing education, correspondence with the social frameworks that give meaning to the community, among others. It also concludes traits appropriate for your personal and professional profile, school climate, and ownership of school rules in force.

The school, the family and the community constitute an essential instrument in the preventive care of the students and they are also a place where interpersonal relationships are strengthened. In this way, the school and the family sign a pact in which the former firmly commits itself to giving society a competent and professionally capable individual, a subject who is respectful of the values and traditions of the community to which it belongs, an autonomous, responsible individual with the capacity to modify what exists or to legitimize the established order based on clear ethical, moral and political criteria. The present investigation, Incidence of family and school as psychosocial factors in school climate, is a mixed study where the incidence of family and school as psychosocial factors in school climate will be analyzed. In this sense, these social scenarios suppose situations in which the action of an individual modifies the behavior of others, this product of lived experiences, the pressure of the masses, among other aspects. The objective of the research is to characterize, describe and determine the incidence of the family and the school in the school climate of a second grade Primary School classroom, based on the importance of good school climate in and outside the classroom. For this, the methodological design is conceived from a rationalist-deductive approach, in a mixed investigation, thus framing each action under the route to follow for the fulfillment of said objective.

Relating with others in peace, respect and tolerance for diversity is the foundation of the coexistence that in the educational context is constituted not only in the supervision of compliance with standards, but in a learning that must be intended from pedagogical practices, both in the classroom as outside of it, assuming it as an educational / formative task that is the responsibility of all members of the school community. The research aimed to analyze the feasibility for the integration of a didactic for coexistence in the secondary education curriculum, is framed from the deductive rationalist approach, quantitative approach, positivist paradigm and whose methodology is based on the formal logic of descriptive character , with a field design (empirical), not experimental and transversal. The units under study are students and teachers of high school at the Francisco de Paula Santander School located in the Soledad municipality of the department of Atlántico, Colombia, who are treated using the survey techniques. Among the results, it is determined that the institution requires improving pedagogical practices to train students in skills that allow them to live with others, improve disruptive behaviors that occur in some students, as well as discipline and classroom climate. It is concluded that the integration of a didactics in the curriculum is essential to strengthen school life, adopting the training approach required to teach and learn to live emotionally in the classroom, school, community, family and society.

In short, students affirmed that school climate is neutral. However, students claim that there is much evidence of physical and verbal violence, especially among male students. Education is the means by which we acquire professional growth, it is in the educational institutions where we forge our social character, where relationships and the first forms of participation in society are built, in this sense we can determine that this is where the personal development of students as young people; the family with its contribution in values and the school as a promoter of good educational practices, together allow learners to have the motivation to learn new knowledge. From this perspective the thesis is considered that a good school climate is imperative to achieve a good school life and improve the educational quality in educational establishments. The research is framed from the rationalist-deductive approach, allowing to highlight the situations that are related to the problems of study; a theoretical empirical design, complementary or mixed quantitative and qualitative paradigm is conceived and whose methodology is based on the formal logic of a descriptive, analytical and explanatory nature; the units under study are students and teachers of secondary education in San Andrés Islas, specifically the Educational Institution Antonia Santos, who are treated using observation and survey techniques. Among the results, it is determined that the institution requires the effort of the entire educational community to strengthen and improve pedagogical practices, the behavioral habits of the students and the infrastructure of the institution to achieve the transformation of the school climate. It is concluded that the interrelation between the aforementioned variables is fundamental to strengthen school coexistence and improve educational quality.
