The theme studied in this research was the simulation of games with the use of ICT for the learning of set theory, because it is very relevant in the academic field and in which many students have learning difficulties. The objective that guided this research was to verify the contributions of the game simulation method, supported by information and communication technologies, as a pedagogical strategy to improve the learning of set theory in 5th grade students of the District Educational Institution. Luís Carlos Galán Sarmiento from Barranquilla. The positivist empirical method approach was worked on, from the quantitative paradigm and quasiexperimental design. We worked with a population of 25 students and four instruments were used to collect the information: Instrument 1: student-questionnaire, Instrument 2: teacher-questionnaire, Instrument 3: class observer, Instrument 4: outcome indicators; The simulation of games was applied and the information was processed. At the end of the research process, it was found that there was an improvement in the students' learning of set theory and therefore in their academic performance, after applying the game simulation strategy through TIC.
