Proposes a prototype home automation applications that allow better use of electric energy at home. It is a timed lighting system with automatic on/off using a Pyroelectric Motion Sensor C-7288. The research is projective and results in the construction of a prototype that has a supply voltage AC-DC transformerless, and is controlled through an user interface to select the time of illumination and the operation manual or automatic of the equipment.
