Elementos de formación académica que contribuyen a la competitividad en los futuros profesionales de contaduría pública en la Universidad de la Costa

Abstract

The objective of this work is to identify through observation, the elements of academic training that can contribute to the competitiveness in the future professionals of accounting at the Universidad de la Costa. These elements are:

The pedagogy (Extracurricular activities), the research and the internationalization, which are fundamental in the academic background of the learner, to be more competitive in the professional field, as to the demands of the employment market according to the technological, scientific and regulatory changes that occur in society.

The research method used in this study is the inductive, because it aims to identify the causes and consequences of the problem to solve, what are the elements of academic training that can contribute to the competitiveness of future accounting professionals?

This research work takes into account the results obtained through the instrument applied which was the interview, here we see that for the four (4) groups of interviewed who were: Professors, Students, Academic Faculty and Business Sector. Was detected that they agree on the importance of the academic elements which are: The pedagogy (extracurricular activity), the research and the internationalization.

Finally, it cannot be divided and much less categorize or segment the elements of education that have been addressed throughout this investigation, because all three must be present and linked in order to have a proper academic background of learners and to finally have a competitive professional not only in the accounting field but in any profession.

El objetivo de este trabajo es identificar a través de la observación los elementos de formación académica que permiten contribuir a la competitividad en los futuros profesionales de contaduría pública en la Universidad de la Costa. Estos elementos son:

La Pedagogía (actividades extracurriculares), la investigación y la internacionalización, los cuales son fundamentales en la formación académica del educando, para ser más competitivos en el campo profesional, según las exigencias del mercado laboral de acuerdo a los cambios tecnológicos, científicos y normativos que se presenten en la sociedad.

El método de investigación utilizado en este trabajo es el inductivo, porque trata de identificar las causas y consecuencias de la problemática a resolver, ¿cuáles son los elementos de formación académica que permiten contribuir a la competitividad de los futuros profesionales contables?

Este trabajo de investigación tiene en cuenta los resultados obtenidos a través del instrumento aplicado el cual fue la entrevista, aquí observamos que para los cuatro (4) grupos de entrevistados que fueron: Docentes, Estudiantes, Facultad Académica y Sector empresarial. Se detectó que coinciden en la importancia de los elementos académicos los cuales son: la pedagogía (actividades extracurriculares), investigación y la internacionalización.

Para finalizar, no se pueden dividir ni mucho menos categorizar o segmentar los elementos de educación que se han tratado a lo largo de esta investigación, porque los tres deben estar siempre presentes y enlazados para una adecuada formación académica del educando y para obtener finalmente un profesional competitivo no solo en el campo contable sino en cualquier profesión.
