Abstract
This article aimed to analyze the integral management as a strategy of competitiveness of the Public Universities in the Border Integration. Zone between Colombia and Venezuela. The investigation was descriptive, not experimental, and transactional.The researchers worked with finite inhabitants with population census criteria. The results demonstrate high trends in the process of planning, organization, direction and controlin the integral management. According to the analysis of the results, it was determined that the majority of the executives recognize the need to manage in an integral way, in order to reach competitiveness of the organizations. The personnel possesses knowledge and experience, which constitutes a fundamental prop in the development of skills of the human talent. The managers make strategic alliances or agreements that can establish the construction of actions to improve the given services. In conclusion, the essential elements of success are the rules that determine that the public universities in the border integration zone are financial and competitive successful.
