dc.description.abstractEn este artículo se muestra la caracterización de los emprendedores del Fondo Emprender Sincelejo, cuyo perfil es: hombres, de edad joven, con formación universitaria, innovadores, alerta a las oportunidades, motivados por la generación de empleos, con ingresos mensuales menores a tres salarios mínimos, y no presentan dedicación exclusiva a la empresa creada. La metodología empleada inicia con la revisión bibliográfica del emprendimiento como campo de investigación y de lo que significa ser emprendedor, para elaborar el marco teórico. Fueron encuestados diecisiete participantes en el estudio, a quienes se les preguntó acerca de las características que ellos consideraban que debían estar presentes en un emprendedor. Al final se hacen unas breves conclusiones y se plantean los nuevos desafíos en el campo del emprendimientospa
