Defense mechanisms and consumer protection in comparative law
Abstract
In Colombia away from adoptions made by most Latin American countries, have not been defined real mechanisms from the constitutional level to guarantee real consumption ratio within our standards, despite its status as a collective right as the same constitutional court has recognized the existence of a field of protection for the consumer, inspired by the aim of restoring a match for producers and distributors. Thus, through a qualitative approach methodology and analytical type descriptively different mechanisms establish administrative and judicial arranged in comparative law, to guarantee constitutionally recognized rights of consumers and users.
