Financial structure of microenterprise in Colombia

Abstract

The study of microenterprise in Colombia is very important. Its contribution to the product, the employment and the distribution of the income, sustains it. The objective of this article is to analyze the financial structure of Colombian microenterprises. The epistemological approach is the empirical-inductive. Research design: non-experimental field. Type of descriptive and transectional study. Technique used: the survey. Instrument: questionnaire applied to owners or directors of 1601 microenterprises located in Bogotá, Medellín, Cali and Barranquilla. Among the results, the financial structure has its own or family savings as a source of financing, followed by banks and financial institutions, supplier and government.

El estudio de la microempresa en Colombia es muy importante. Su aporte al producto, el empleo y la distribución de los ingresos, lo sustenta. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la estructura financiera de las microempresas colombianas. El enfoque epistemológico es el empírico-inductivo. Diseño de la investigación: campo no experimental. Tipo de estudio descriptivo y transeccional. Técnica utilizada: la encuesta. Instrumento: cuestionario aplicado a propietarios o directores de 1601 microempresas ubicadas en Bogotá, Medellín, Cali y Barranquilla. Entre los resultados, la estructura financiera tiene ahorros propios o familiares como fuente de financiamiento, seguidos por los bancos e instituciones financieras, proveedores y el gobierno.
