Abstract
This research aimed at identifying practices from arts that strengthen a culture of peace and conflict resolution in four District Educational Institutions (EDI) under the leadership of the educative organization Fe y Alegría. The research was qualitative type, under principles of hermeneutical historical paradigm, were applied as focal group tools and a survey of quantitative court about coexistence in the school, which allowed to determine assestment and characterize the perceptions of teachers and students about the process of conflict resolution , strengthening peace culture and the arts, then these techniques were combined using triangulation to establish the articulation between these categories and interpreting them from the grounded theory thus managed to describe the integration process between the arts and the culture of peace at school, taking awareness as a key tool building culture of peace.
