Abstract
This research arises to analyze the levels of satisfaction of public accounting students, for which we are based on the study of several authors such as González (2009) who carried out an investigation at the University of Antioquia where he defines what aspects influence the demotivation of the students of public accounting. Based on the theory, a survey was applied to students of the 4 most representative universities in Barranquilla, where it was concluded that the main reasons why students choose the Public Accounting career are by their own liking, because they have influence from school And by expectations of future higher incomes, in general students are motivated by the labor expectations they have, however there is a problem that is the lack of adequate income policies in educational institutions. The impressions and affinities of the students surveyed in relation to their job expectations and the quality of their education indicate a higher percentage of satisfaction, although most of the students are also dissatisfied with the curricular meshwork and dissatisfaction with the methodology of the students. Teachers finally, it was observed that the students' expectations regarding their profession and their work performance upon completing their undergraduate studies are positive; However, there is a considerable number of students who are negative about their perception of their job expectations.
