Abstract
Bullying is a phenomenon that frequently occurs in relationships between students, who assume di-verse roles and who may find this manifestation as a way of interacting with others. Numerous stud-ies have been done to evaluate this problem and several interventions have been proposed, however, it is observed that the phenomenon is still present. This paper aims to show the importance of social skills in coping with bullying. The research has been developed under the descriptive methodology, through the selection of articles in the databases Redalyc, Scielo, Revista Psicoeducativa, Behav-ioral Psychology, Revista Iberoamericana de Psicología: Ciencia y Tecnología, Liberabit Revista de Psicología, Revista psicología, Culture and Society, using descriptors such as: skills and bullying, bullying, social skills, in the last 15 years.
