The corregimiento of La Peña - Sabanalarga is connected to SIN since December 31, 1985. The interest of this investigation arose due to the electricity service provider entity, Electricaribe, it has some SAIDI and SAIFI indicators that do not comply with the national average, they provide electric power service in an intermittent and unreliable manner for users. To obtain information about the continuity of the service in the corregimiento; Subsequently, several aspects that should be achieved by a constant energy service will be analyzed. In order to carry out the study of these studies, the laws, norms and decrees that cover the Financial Support Fund for the Energy of the Interconnected Rural Areas (FAER) are studied.
For the simulations of the scenarios it was necessary to use the software NEPLAN v5.3 to simulate the implementation of Non-Conventional Sources of Renewable Energies (FNCER) in different groups and thus be able to analyze more efficiently the behavior of the current system and the proposed scenarios. This is developed in order to improve the reliability and continuity of the service, reduce the high costs of energy consumption and determine the best economic and technical scenario.
