Leer en Psicología ¿Qué dicen los estudiantes al ingresar y al finalizar el primer año?

Las percepciones de los estudiantes nóveles en relación a lo que se lee y su participación en comunidades discipli-nares son dimensiones de singular importancia al desa-rrollar procesos de lectura con fines académicos. Desde esa perspectiva el presente artículo tiene como propósito analizar las concepciones de los estudiantes del primer año de los Programas Académicos de Psicología en rela-ción a qué se lee al iniciarse y al finalizar la carrera. Con base a un enfoque cualitativo se procede a estudiar la ca-tegoría Lectura con intencionalidad formativa Discipli-nar como constructo emergente; La recolección de infor-mación se realizó a partir de entrevistas en profundidad a los estudiantes en dos oportunidades una, al iniciarse el ciclo lectivo y otra, antes de finalizar el mismo. Entre los principales resultados destaca que los estudiantes con alto rendimiento logran construir conocimiento sobre las clases de texto y los tipos discursivos, así como tam-bién evidencian apropiación de los géneros académicos que se leen en esta comunidad disciplinar. Se concluye en que existen diferencias importantes en cuanto a las percepciones que obtienen estudiantes con calificaciones medias o altas en los parciales de las asignaturas en re-lación a los que han obtenido bajas calificaciones The perceptions of the new students in relation to what is read and their participation in disciplinary com-munities are dimensions of singular importance when developing reading processes for academic purposes. From this perspective, this article aims to analyze the conceptions of the first year students of the Academic Programs of Psychology in relation to what is read at the beginning and at the end of the degree. Based on a qualitative approach, we proceed to study the category Reading with educational intentionality Disciplinary as an emerging construct; the collection of informa-tion was carried out through in-depth interviews with students on two occasions, one at the beginning of the school year and another, before the end of it. Among the main results, it is worth highlighting that students with high performance manage to build knowledge about text classes and discursive types, as well as evidence of appropriation of the academic genres that are read in this disciplinary community. It is concluded that there are important differences regarding the perceptions ob-tained by students with medium or high marks in the partials of the subjects in relation to those who have obtained low marks.
