Abstract
This work shows the results of the quantitative and exploratory study of factors that affect the entrepreneurship of the stationary vendors in the Barranquilla´s historical center and was developed with the purpose of generating alternatives that motivate the development of this important sector of the local economy, considering the weight and impact of the informal economy in finance at the country level. A review of the main theoretical and referential aspects for the research is carried out, with special emphasis on what the theory about entrepreneurship and its incidence factors, from this analysis, an information gathering instrument was constructed. Which mainly uses variables in form of a Likert scale. The instrument was applied to 60 stationary vendors from the city center of Barranquilla, showing as the main result that the sector has a moderate presence of entrepreneurship factors regarding entrepreneurship elements, efficient entrepreneurship, and ethical considerations and determining factors for the entrepreneurship While the Competencies for entrepreneurship have a high presence of incidence factors.
