Sostenibilidad social en el sector agroindustrial del estado Trujillo–Venezuela. Un constructo relevante para el desarrollo

This paper was to analyze the social sustainability of the Agroindustry of the Trujillo-Venezuela state. Realism was used as an ontological reference, consistent with the inductive empirical
epistemological approach of quantitative studies, with a field design, not experimental and cross. The population was constituted by twentytwo (22) companies, whose administrators were given a semistructured questionnaire with 17 items. The processing of the information was done through descriptive statistics. The results show that these companies have a medium level of social sustainability, influenced by the degree of competitiveness of the five dimensions that make it up. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la sostenibilidad social del sector agroindustrial del estado Trujillo-Venezuela. Se utilizó como referente ontológico el realismo, coherente con el
enfoque epistemológico empírico inductivo de los estudios de carácter cuantitativo, con un diseño de campo, no experimental y transeccional. La población estuvo constituida por veintidós (22) empresas, a cuyos administradores se le aplicó un cuestionario semiestructurado con 17 items. El procesamiento de la información se realizó a través de la estadística descriptiva. Los resultados demuestran que estas empresas tienen un nivel medio de sostenibilidad social, influenciado por el
grado de competitividad de las cinco dimensiones que la conforman.
