Abstract
The implementation of tactical urbanism exercises, successful in cities of developed countries, must be questioned in Latin American city contexts, taking into account that our cities have a different situation, their population grew and will grow more than cities in the rest of the world. The concepts of the new global urbanism are based on a discursive of the movements of constructions but that in the Latin American environment do not have an adaptation process that adapts to the urban realities of the South American continent , and instead, have adopted North American standards. (Chávez & Badillo, 2017) This article aims to make a reflection on this issue and support the reasons for this hypothesis.
