Abstract
The research is carried out with the objective of proposing Cleaner Production Actions (PML) that will make the water cycle more efficient in the Cienfuegos Meat Company. In it, a critical analysis of the national and international literature related to the application of PML in the meat processing industry and specifically in the consumption of water in the same. The measurements and evaluations allowed to quantify the consumption in the Industrial Meat Processing, representing 74.21% of the company's consumption, as well as to determine the critical points of water incorporation. As alternatives to achieve the reduction of excessive water consumption, the implementation of simple measures of low economic and environmental investment is proposed
