Análisis del potencial turístico exportable del municipio de puerto Colombia - Atlántico

Abstract

Este proyecto de investigación se centra en analizar el potencial turístico exportable del municipio de Puerto Colombia. Se realizó unas visitas de campo, donde se pudo interactuar y conocer más a fondo los elementos que intervienen de manera directa o indirecta en el estudio del fenómeno, en donde se pudo destacar los aspectos fundamentales de la problemática presentada en el sector turístico del municipio de Puerto Colombia en donde se encontró los puntos clave para la elaboración de las estrategias de mejoramiento. Para está investigación de campo se realizó una recolección de información necesaria para su desarrollo; utilizando de manera exploratoria las fuentes primarias y secundarias. Dentro de las fuentes primarias se realizaron las visitas a diferentes Agencias de Viaje con el fin de conocer el portafolio de paquetes que estas ofrecen y el tipo de turismo y lugares preferidos de los turista, además de realizar encuestas directas con los habitantes y comerciantes del municipio de Puerto Colombia y con los visitantes y turistas que se encontraban en esté. Y a través de la información suministrada por las fuentes secundarias tales como: El Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, Fondo Nacional del Turismo, Secretaría de Turismo de la Gobernación del atlántico y la Cámara de Comercio de Barranquilla se logró identificar los posibles mercados potenciales para ofertar al municipio como destino turístico y también el poder diseñar un plan para potencializar al máximo las oportunidades para el Turismo aprovechando los recursos disponibles, y poder aumentar la competitividad turística.
