Abstract
The humanitarian, political, social and economic crisis left behind by the migration of Venezuelans and their families to Colombia has transcended the city of Barranquilla, significantly affecting the integral development of migrant children and adolescents, becoming a sensitive and vulnerable population exposed to labor exploitation in various parts of the city. In this sense, this study is aimed at analyzing public policies against the child labor exploitation of Venezuelan immigrants in Barranquilla; For its realization, the socio-legal method was used according to the methodological proposals of Arias (2012), Rodríguez (2017), Tamayo (2004), Hernández, Fernández, & Baptista (2012), using the explanatory approach with documentary design, data collection through semi-structured interview and qualitative analysis; it was possible to conclude that the labor exploitation of Venezuelan children and adolescents negatively affects their integral development despite the actions and programs developed in the framework of the Government's public policies.
