The department of the Atlantic Ocean, given his geographical position is a great attraction for all kinds of trade for what this has generated in the last years a notable increase in the economic activity. Product of this activity is necessary to transport enormous quantities of goods which has his influence on the structures of pavement.
When the vehicles of load exceed frequently the weight borders established by the competent authorities, high efforts take place in the structures generating an intensive deterioration of the same ones being reflected in reductions of the useful life and the possible destruction of his infrastructure. The mentioned justifies the need to possess royal information updated in the department, which will allow a better estimation of the transitory loads that affect the structures of the pavements.
In the investigation one told with weighing of the vehicles of load that they travel the route Marsh Barranquilla in both senses for one month, graphed the spectra of load to observe the frequency of these, there calculated the Factors of Equivalence of load and Factor Truck for every configuration of axes. Later there was realized a comparison of the values obtained with the values provided by the INVIAS and the differences were demonstrated enter these being major the values obtained due to an important percentage of overweight in the road network. These differences assume to that on having generated global factors for the whole national territory, there are not born in mind the diverse specific characteristics of operation of the different routes of the country.
