The research #MeToo: Move safety, women and public transportation, identifies and assesses the risks for the users of the public transport systems Transmetro and Transcaribe that operate in the cities of Barranquilla and Cartagena respectively, considering the factors that generate
insecurity in the scenarios for the provision of the service and the figures of sexual violence,
taking into account the perception and the inherent security concept of each individual; the aforementioned research was ascertained through the selection of surveys, which allows us to know and analyze the reaction of users to real-life situations and the variables that determine
them, the need to limit the number of variables or present all the possible situations to the same
individual; Thus, the study does not show the percentage of victims of violence and / or sexual harassment present in the cities of Barranquilla and Cartagena, directly related to factors such as gender, age and social stratum, thus evidencing the fraction of the most vulnerable society in the face of these events and the factors that influence users' perception of security, taking into
account the impact generated by the notable increase in the events related to this type of violence
in recent years. The above, in order to identify solutions that allow a decrease in the number of cases of violence and / or latent sexual harassment in society and makes comparisons for the
comparison between both systems from the point of view of safety in mobility, a factor that directly affects the free development of service users.
